About me
I spent the first 21 years of my working life as a classroom teacher in
primary schools and as a support teacher for children with special
needs.
I stood for Parliament in 1992 with the thought that this would be an
effective way of making changes in the world and then I found other
ways of doing this.
I was employed by UNISON, the Trade Union for workers in the public
services, from 1993 until 2004, as the Regional Women's Officer in the
South East of England.
I left UNISON to start working as a trainer and coach, having gained
various qualifications in this field over the last 16
years. These include:
1989 Diploma in Assertiveness Training
(Redwood Women's Training Association)
1999 Louise Hay Teacher Training
Certificate. See the online
directory of Louise Hay teachers.
2001 Advanced Louise Hay Teacher Training
Certificate
2003 NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
Practitioner's Certificate (Back on Track Associates)
2004 NLP Master Practitioner's
Certificate (PPD Learning)
One of the things I have learned is that if you want to make
changes in the world, a good place to start is yourself!
